Empowering the Next Generation of Voters

The John & Lillian Miles Lewis Foundation is committed to fostering civic engagement and empowering young people to exercise their right to vote. Through partnerships with voter registration leaders and high schools across the nation, we are working to ensure that the next generation is informed, engaged, and ready to participate in the democratic process.

Building a Foundation for Civic Engagement

Our mission is to educate young people about their rights and responsibilities as citizens. We work with youth-led organizations and initiatives to prepare high school students for participation in public and political life. By partnering with schools and organizations, we aim to create a nationwide movement that promotes civic education and voter registration.

Supporting High School Voter Registration Across the U.S.

As a convenor, we bring together schools, local leaders, and national voter registration efforts to increase voter participation among young people. While there is already tremendous work being done to register young voters, we are dedicated to amplifying these efforts, especially ahead of upcoming elections.

Our work focuses not only on Georgia but on high schools across the U.S., equipping educators and communities with the resources and tools they need to inspire and mobilize future voters.
